The graph represents a "Semantic Network Visualization" composed of individual concepts aggregated from streaming social media content. The size of the nodes (spheres) indicates the frequency of a concept in the data, while the thickness of the links indicates the frequency of connections between two concepts, and the color indicates that the concept is on a custom Watchlist.
The data powering the visualization is being archived from a wide variety of streaming sources in real-time, refined in order to remove noise, and displayed based on custom queries.
By linking notable concepts to descriptors and "aggregated logic chains" we can see patterns in evolving public consciousness. In contrast to other semantic analyses, Infochurn allows users to not only see which terms are trending, but also the chains of logic through which the public is forming it's opinion. When combined with custom data inputs, smart archiving, and user visualization refinement Infochurn poses a novel and dynamic way to "see the herd."
Click a node to expand to other concepts to which it is connected or drag nodes to see the network more clearly.
